The Advertisement for inviting applications for Central Teacher Eligibility Test 2011 to be conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education on 26th June, 2011 was published on 8th & 9th April, 2011 in all leading newspapers including Employment News.  The last date for sale of bulletins and applying online was 10th May, 2011.  As per the scheme of examination, the candidates were required to give options for two languages in both the papers I and II, to be eligible for appointment as teacher for classes 1 to V and classes VI to VIII respectively. Now,  a  decision  has  been  taken  that  candidates  appearing  for  Central Teacher Eligibility Test­2011  can  also opt  for  Sanskrit  as one of  their option  in languages.
